Prioritize your email messages with SNARF
If you are receiving bulk of emails messages every day, including spam, you have probably been wishing there was a way to sort them based on, for instance, whether they’re from people to whom you’ve recently sent email. Well, that’s exactly the kind of thing that a new software program, the Social Network And Relationship Finder (SNARF) attempts to do. It uses a technique called “social sorting” that uses your past emailing history to determine who your friends or important business colleagues. And more importantly … it’s free!
SNARF, the Social Network and Relationship Finder, developed by Microsoft Research and available for download, is designed to help computer users cope with precisely such scenarios. SNARF, a complement to e-mail programs such as Outlook, filters and sorts e-mail based on the type of message and the user’s history with an e-mail correspondent. The result: a collection of alternative views of your e-mail that can help you make sense of the deluge.
