Interactive Voice Response (IVR) Cheats!
Have you ever experienced being lost in the abyss of phone menu of the company that you’re calling? Or sometimes you follow their menu - you enter your account number, press 1, press 2 etc and then only when you get through the customer representative (the actual human) and not the electronic human, they ask for the information that you have just entered a minute ago. It will makes you want to travel accross the phone line and strangle the person on the other line. Well I’ve just had enough of this so I Googled this issue and viola I have the solution.
Paul English had the same experience as each of us have experienced to these humanoids Interactive Voice Response (IVR). Instead of irrating the other person he does this IVR cheats sheet. Check it out, it’s a treasure.
Now, I’d like to follow the example of Paul. Maybe I should start to crack how the IVR’s in our country works and help my fellow Filipinos to get out of the phone tree menu and talk to humans in the most quickest way possible. So if you are reading this and you know how to crack the IVR’s in the Philippines you can always post your contribution here. Thanks in advance :)
