God in your everyday battle

“So don’t worry at all about having enough food and clothing. Why be like the heathen? For they take pride in all these things and are deeply concerned about them. But your heavenly Father already knows perfectly well that you need them, and He will give them to you if you give Him first place in your life and live as He wants you to” (Matthew 6:31-33).

I’m a man of faith and I trust Him will all my heart. I have this special prayer that I recite everytime I wake up and before I go to sleep.

Father, thank you for giving me another chance to live today. As I start my day I’m again endorsing to you my life. Guide me and please take good care of me and my family. Thank you

It is a very short prayer but all of my feelings and faith was all there. It’s an honest surrender of once self everyday and every minute of your life.

Sometimes I also forgot to say my prayer and it makes me feel bad of not having to do so. But you know the great thing about this is your relationship with Him. Though sometimes you forgot to pray, He understands. And everytime you needed Him and I mean everytime, He is there. Just like today, I was put into a very difficult situation wherein I breached the trust of one man. But it was never my intention to do so. It just happened that in the process I hurt him. My friend confronted me and told me that I did something teribble with him. I was so sad to know that I hurt him. What I did was accept my fault, explain to him my side, apologize and I promised that this will never happen again. My friend was again happy and thank me for being honest to him and I think our relationship has gotten more stronger. Now where is God in all of this? I tell you - He is right there. Acting as a peace negotiator between my friend and me. Had it not for God, I’ve already lost a very dear friend. Had it not for God, my friend will just take his pride and ignore my sincere apology. Had it not for God, my relationship with my friend would have been lost. God is everywhere, and you can count on Him anytime.

Today, I’ve learned a lot and I feel very strong and happy. Make it a habit to surrender your life to Him everyday, even if you forgot to do so, like I do sometimes He will understand. God bless :)
