Flock a threat to Firefox
I don’t know how one can get money from building a web browsers but I bet there is a fortune in it.
Flock is based on Firefox but then takes it into an interesting direction of community orientation. A taste of the next generation of interactivity on the Web. As the developers state: “We started Flock to build tools that empower people and smooth out some of the more hairy parts of living and working online. As it is, we live and breathe this stuff everyday and wanted better tools to do the things that we love doing online. They are also looking for beta testers. I think Flock is promising since it is focused on the needs of the web people e.g. bloggers, developers, designers etc.
